Hey George, thanks. Later on I’ll probably be making reference to your Journey Into Mohawk Country in the blog… The Dutch history, and also the Algonquian/Iroquois stories come into all this.
And Junior and Anna, thanks too!
The pacing works so differently in a whole book than in a webcomic. Just one of the many discoveries already from this experiment. And so many kind comments.
I’m loving the pacing, Mark. Beautiful work.
I love the half-panel dialog (or whatever you call it) as Twain is leaving to go below deck.
The variance between the striking and muted elements on every page is eye-catching to say the least.

The half panel dialog reminds me of how Fabian Nicieza used to love to do very small text in small word bubbles as like a mutter or sarcastic comment.
just discovered and read all back panels– so glad I did! but there’s many broken links on the site.
hey bkworm, thanks. went looking and found a couple of them. are they fixed now?
