Sailor Twain is now out! And it’s a New York Times Bestseller. Thank you, Fellow Twainers, for all your support, and for making this happen.

As you may have noticed, all but the first five chapters have vanished in the Hudson mist… A huge, delighted THANK YOU to everyone who has joined in the online adventure—hope you enjoy the book and I look forward to meeting Fellow Twainers in coming events…

Hope you enjoy the book!

GOING BACK UNDER WATER FOR A WHILE…

Sailor Twain author video from Mark Siegel on Vimeo.

Dear Fellow Twainers!

Please make sure and sign up for Sailor Twain updates! I had plans for weekly posts for a little while longer, but as some of you have wisely advised, I had best submerge again back into the depths of the Hudson (where some of you are longstanding denizens, anyway.) Right now, Sailor Twain’s launch as a book is demanding quite a lot from me, and more importantly a tide of new projects inexorably rolls in–projects which I’ll be most eager to share with you.

At the end of the summer, most likely in September, things will reawaken here, with some fresh offerings before the book comes out. One of these will be a little extra Twain story, a few pages long. I have something cooking but it’s still very rough. In the meantime allow me to ask you something: if you had your druthers, what would a bonus Sailor Twain tale contain? Who would it focus on? Any thoughts? Leave a comment…

Also, I know many of you are talented artists and storytellers, and I’d love it if you shared some of your current projects below–books coming out, webcomics, artist sites? Leave a link so other Twainers can discover your labor of love if you’re willing.

It has been a great treat and an honor and a totally enriching experience sharing this time with you all. You’ve made the last couple years a delight, a fascinating and unpredictable journey.

Again, be sure to leave your email in the “sign up for updates” page! Any news will come that way and on the Sailor Twain Facebook page. Plus of course, the odd surprises on the Facebook “Lorelei Historical Society,” which you can join if you haven’t already.

With many, many thanks, and warmest wishes, until next!

Respectfully yours,

Mark
